Housing Solicitor
Salary: c. £35,300 p.a. + generous terms and conditions (to £38,600 if qualified as a legal aid supervisor).
We’re looking for a housing solicitor to help work on our Legal Aid Agency contract covering legal help, certificated cases and representation at court as part of the duty solicitor scheme. We would love to hear from you if you already qualify as a legal aid supervisor or could do so soon. You’ll need to have at least one year’s experience of advising and assisting in housing law, together with a talent for explaining complex legal ideas in simple language and the ability to manage a demanding workload.

Pro Bono Development Worker
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 p.a. + generous terms and conditions.
We’re looking for someone to help us set up new pro bono advice clinics, working with city law firms and others to provide free advice with a particular focus on welfare benefits and employment law problems for disabled people in our community.
You’ll need to have good communication skills and experience of interaction with senior people in a corporate environment, as well as a working knowledge of welfare benefits and employment law, disability access and other issues.

Employment Law Supervior
Salary: c. £38,600 p.a. + generous terms and conditions.
We’re looking for someone special to lead and develop our employment law service, building on the foundations we have already laid to extend our services to our East End community.
For the moment, we are offering the post as a fixed-term contract until the end of September 2026 (although we’re open to discussion about the length). During that time, we expect to learn the future of the main funding stream that has supported the service to date. We also want the appointee to identify and grow sources of funding for the future that will sustain both the post and the service far into the future. You’ll notice that the Job Description expresses the role as leading and supervising a team, which reflects our ambition for both you and the service – but on appointment, you’ll be our sole employment lawyer.
